From challenges to solution, in our Technical Center we can replicate your entire process from conceptualization to final application.

For the optimum time to market, you need to make sure the transition from the lab to full-scale production runs smoothly. With our advanced in-house equipment – ranging from compounders and film lines up to crystallizers –, we can replicate your process conditions, providing valuable scale-up data and delivering the accuracy needed to develop high-performance products.

By simulating your process conditions, our equipment allows us to meet your unique demands tailored to the functional, aesthetic, and optical requirements of your end application. 

Compounders

Our Technical Center is equipped with multiple compounders that are optimized for production of masterbatches and compounds. These compounders allow efficient and effective development of formulations so we can manufacture accurate, small-scale samples for customers, including high temperature capability for selected polymers on selected lines.

Film Lines

  • Mono flat film lines: Used for the development and quality control of film samples for later thermoforming or orientation. Their high-distribution design enables efficient additives and color development.
  • Coex flat film lines: For calendared or cast film manufacturing. It allows efficient development of surface critical functionalities for sheets.
  • Lab Tenterframe KARO IV: Critical for the development of oriented film applications, providing scale-up data and parameters, this unique equipment massively and accurately accelerates our customers’ go-to-market.

Molders

Our Technical Center features injection molders to produce color plaques, including high-temperature capabilities. They also enable us to perform color quality control, precise color development, and test properties such as tensile strength and spiral flow.

Thermoformer

Our lab thermoformer is a vacuum-forming machine for A4 sheet formats. We have diverse tray tools available for characterization and application development. 

Crystallizers

Crystallizers control the crystallization of polymers to enhance their mechanical properties such as strength and thermal stability. We have small scale crystallizers available to perform crystallization on sample batches and to replicate this step in the recycling process.
