Our website is based on the Pimcore platform, which is used for managing digital content and data. Pimcore is a software solution for Content Management (CMS), Product Information Management (PIM), and Digital Asset Management (DAM), developed by Pimcore GmbH (Salzburg, Austria)

The technical implementation and hosting of our website are carried out by WOB AG. 2. Signing up for our Newsletter
If you have explicitly given your consent by placing an order, we will send you our newsletter on a regular basis. To receive the newsletter, you only need to provide your email address and first and last name. It is possible to unsubscribe at any time, for example by clicking a link at the end of each newsletter. Alternatively, you can send your request to unsubscribe by email to media@sukano.com at any time.

Our newsletter is sent via Evalanche, a platform provided by SC-Networks GmbH (Würmstraße 4, 82319 Starnberg, Germany), which we use through our service provider WOB AG. Evalanche is used for organizing, sending, and analyzing newsletters. The data you provide to receive the newsletter (e.g., email address) is stored on Evalanche’s servers in Germany, ensuring compliance with the strict data protection standards of the European Union (EU) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Evalanche enables us to analyze our newsletter campaigns. When you open an email sent via Evalanche, a tracking pixel (web beacon) embedded in the email connects to Evalanche’s servers. This allows us to determine whether a newsletter email was opened and which links were clicked. Additionally, technical information (e.g., time of access, IP address, browser type, and operating system) is collected. This data is used exclusively for statistical analysis to optimize our future newsletters.

If you wish to opt out of this analysis, you can unsubscribe from the newsletter. The lawfulness of data processing carried out before your unsubscription remains unaffected.

Once you unsubscribe, the data stored for your newsletter subscription will be deleted from our systems and Evalanche’s servers, unless legal retention requirements apply. Data that we store for other purposes (e.g., customer relationships) remains unaffected.

For more information on Evalanche’s data protection practices, please visit: https://www.sc-networks.de/datenschutz/.

We have entered into a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) with Evalanche via WOB AG, obligating Evalanche to process user data in accordance with the GDPR and prohibiting the sharing of data with third parties.

  7. Social Media Plugins
On our website, we use social media plugins for the social networks LinkedIn and YouTube to increase awareness of our company. The responsibility for operation in conformity with data protection is ensured by the respective provider. These plugins are integrated through the so-called two-click method to ensure the best possible protection for visitors to our website.
    1. LinkedIn
We use components of the LinkedIn network on our website. LinkedIn is a service of LinkedIn Corporation, 2029 Stierlin Court, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. On each individual visit to our website with such a component, this component causes the browser used by you to download a certain representation of the LinkedIn component. This process informs LinkedIn about the specific page of our website that you just visited. If you click on the LinkedIn “Recommend Button” while you are logged into your LinkedIn account, you can link the content of our pages to your LinkedIn profile. This allows LinkedIn to assign the visit to our website to your LinkedIn user account.

This information is usually transmitted to a LinkedIn server in the USA and stored there. We have neither influence on the data that LinkedIn has collected nor the scope of the data collected by LinkedIn. We also do not know about the content of the data transmitted to LinkedIn. You can find details on LinkedIn’s data collection and your rights and settings options in LinkedIn’s privacy policy. You will find this information at https://www.linkedin.com.
    2. YouTube
So-called social plugins (“Plugins”) of YouTube are integrated on our website. The operating company of YouTube is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. YouTube, LLC is a subsidiary of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Pkwy, Mountain View, CA 94043-1351, USA. YouTube is an internet video portal that allows video publishers to post video clips free of charge and other users to view, rate and comment on them, also free of charge. YouTube allows the publication of all kinds of videos, which is why complete film and TV shows, but also music videos, trailers and videos made by users themselves can be accessed via the internet portal.

When one of the individual pages of this website, which is operated by the controller and on which a YouTube component (YouTube video) has been integrated, is visited, the respective YouTube component automatically causes the internet browser on the information technology system of the data subject to download a representation of the corresponding YouTube component from YouTube. You will find additional information about YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/about/. As part of this technical process, YouTube and Google receive information about which specific subpage of our website is visited by the data subject.

If the data subject is logged into YouTube at the same time, YouTube recognizes which specific subpage of our website the data subject is visiting when a subpage containing a YouTube video is visited. This information is collected by YouTube and Google and assigned to the respective YouTube account of the data subject. YouTube and Google always receive notification via the YouTube component that the data subject has visited our website if the data subject is logged into YouTube at the same time as visiting our website; this takes place regardless of whether or not the data subject clicks on a YouTube video. If the data subject does not want this information to be transmitted to YouTube and Google, he or she can prevent the transmission by logging out of his or her YouTube account before visiting our website.

This information is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The operator of this website has no more influence on this transmission of data. The privacy policy published by YouTube can be found at https://policies.google.com and provides insight into the collection, processing and use of personal data by YouTube and Google.

    5. Receive your personal data that you have provided us in a structured, common and machine-readable format, or request transmission to another controller.

Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological development.
  11. Updating and Amending this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy is currently valid and this version is dated March 2025.

The ongoing development of our website and offers through it or on account of changes in legal or regulatory requirements may make it necessary for us to amend this Privacy Policy.
