Color Developer

To strengthen our team at our headquarters in Schindellegi, SZ, we are looking for two Color Developers (m/f/d) to start immediately or by mutual agreement.

Main Tasks

  • Formulating colors based on templates, visually and with the support of modern colorimetry software
  • Producing the developed colors using extruders and injection molding machines
  • Sampling new dyes and pigments and creating color matching series
  • Producing application samples (injection molding, film extrusion)
  • Qualification/characterization of colorants and formulations using various analytical methods (DSC, TGA, FT/IR spectroscopy, pressure filter value)
  • Documentation and communication of tasks
  • Creation of cost calculations and product entries in the ERP system
  • Creation of product documentation TDS/MSDS/RC in German and English

Profile

  • Completed technical professional education (plastics technologist, chemical laboratory assistant or similar)
  • Experience in coloristic and plastics processing
  • Careful and structured way of working
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office
  • Proficient in both written and spoken German and Englis
  • Customer-oriented personality with a “can-do” mentality
